Join president Charlie Oppler, 2021 NAR President, as he kicks off this general session with an industry address. Following, the acknowledgements of how the industry has moved forward this past year, we will welcome former New Orleans Saints quarterback, Drew Brees, to the stage.
When we hear the name “Drew Brees” we think member of the New Orleans Saints or recall his nine playoff runs, seven division titles, three NFC Championship Game appearances, and the franchise’s first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XLIV. However, off the field Brees has received awards and accolades for his active role in supporting the Gulf South community and beyond. Brees alongside his wife Brittany founded the Brees Dream Foundation in 2003. Through the Brees Dream Foundation, Brees became involved in the Hurricane Katrina recovery and in 2007 announced a partnership with Operations Kids, which focuses on rebuilding and recreating academic facilities including parks, playgrounds, athletic centers, after-school and mentoring programs.
